Who We Are
As PolKa – Polska Kaucja, we support companies in preparing for new requirements and
provide consumers with a simple and convenient return of bottles and cans. We manage
every element of the process – from collection, through logistics and reuse of raw
materials, to deposit settlement. We create a seamless ecosystem that connects
producers, retailers, transport companies, and recyclers. We offer comprehensive
solutions – from vending machines and infrastructure to IT systems and daily
operational support. Our goal is a universal and intuitive system that will significantly
contribute to reducing waste and increasing recycling rates in Poland.
Management
Magdalena Markiewicz
President of the Management Board of PolKa
She has over 20 years of experience in the waste management industry, gained in large
Polish and international organizations involved in waste collection, recycling, and
processing. Over the past six years, she has developed operations in the water
management sector in Poland, Central Europe, and the Balkans. She focuses on the
financial and organizational efficiency of the projects she manages, but always places
partnerships with local governments, businesses, and other stakeholders at the heart of
her work. She applies a win-win approach based on mutual trust and respect for the
natural environment.
Marcin Tomczyk
Management Board Member - Chief Operating Officer
A manager with extensive international professional experience, gained over the first
decade in Norwegian companies offering engineering services in the oil and gas
extraction and maritime sectors worldwide, ultimately serving as Management Board
Representative. From 2017 to 2022, he was responsible for transformational projects in
logistics and courier services at the InPost capital group. He operated at the intersection
of business and IT (internal and external) as a member of the strategic projects office,
where, among other things, he co-created operational and system assumptions and
then implemented them in the form of improved processes and new tools. He served as
Business Unit Director at Univio (a technology partner in the digital transformation of
commerce), providing IT services in e-commerce and product information management
systems. Most recently, as Director of the Logistics Division at Diagnostyka S.A. (a
healthcare company), he was operationally responsible for courier services,
warehouses, and fleet management. He specializes in managing strategic
transformation projects and logistics, often acting as a change leader.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board exercises ongoing oversight over the Company’s activities in all
areas of its operation. It is composed of individuals with extensive experience in
business, management, and corporate governance. Board members support the
Company’s strategic development, ensuring transparency and the interests of
shareholders and stakeholders.
Agnieszka Pisarek
Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board
A legal advisor with over twenty years of experience in providing comprehensive legal
services to businesses, particularly commercial companies. She specializes in
commercial and civil law, advising on legal strategy, business transactions, and
compliance with legal regulations. She supports management boards in making key
business decisions, minimizing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable
regulations. She has extensive experience in contract negotiations, mergers, and
transformations. She also serves as a legal representative in court cases. In her free
time, she enjoys an active lifestyle. She enjoys reading biographies of strong women,
drawing inspiration from their stories and approaches to success.

Wojciech Zajczyk
Commercial Director
An expert in managing key FMCG customer relationships, he is currently involved in
building a deposit-refund system. He has over 20 years of experience working for
manufacturers such as HERBAPOL, MIESZKO, WEDEL, OSHEE, and KAMIS. He has
managed distributed sales structures across the country and developed strategies and
expanded route-to-market projects.
Marcin Socha
Project Manager for Deposit Refund System Implementation
An expert in managing distributed structures and sales teams. He has 25 years of
experience, including managing a network of modern market stores and collaborating
with business clients. As part of the PolKa team, he is involved in the implementation of
the deposit refund system at collection and introduction points.
Agata Fuz
Business Development Project Manager
An expert in advising and supporting companies in implementing deposit-refund
systems. She has 20 years of experience working with business clients, including 10
years in international projects. As part of the PolKa team, she supports those
introducing deposit-refund systems in preparing for them.
